I fancy a duo-sonic, advice needed

Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

I fancy a duo-sonic, advice needed

Post by crazygoat »

Hi all

I quite fancy putting together a duo-sonic/music master type guitar. I have done some basic guitar building in the past (built a tele) but don't have a lot of free tim these days, so will probably do it in parts. It will probably be a single bridge pick-up, 24" scale neck, possibly finished sonic blue or shell pink.

Any one got any good resources for duo-type bodies? or failing that and time allowing to build, any good templates?

thanks in advance

Warmoth has some great bodies for this type of project. If price is an issue you can always find some good deals on ebay.

Cheers, the warmoth route is probably the way i'll go, but i'll keep my eye on ebay for a couple of week before putting in an order. Always a bit pricey shipping across the water!
