never seen this before. fender swinger

Can't possibly afford one, but now that I know they exist, I need one. The more posts I see about them, the more I can't stop thinking about them. Even that silly headstock is growing on me. It's like the Krusty's Clown College of guitars.

Is it just me imagining this, or does the Fender Swinger headstock have an extra piece glued on a la Cooterfingers modded Mini-Strat neck?

Looks like they were done the same way. Different truss setups.

I don't see any extra piece glued on. it was cut from the larger late 60s headstock.

Fender Swinger head stock is one piece and the neck profile is a V shape. At least mine is.
