Where were your guitars made?
There's always a debate about the relative merits of guitars manufactured in different countries and I thought it would be interesting to collect some data. I'm sure there will be a large amount of US and Japan built stuff, but it's still quite hard to predict. Squier is also very popular at the moment and I believe the current stuff is made in China(though I could be wrong).
Post a breakdown of how many guitars you have from different countries, feel free to include detail about what is from where if you like, but for simplicity's sake it would help to keep the a format similar to -
USA - 1
Mexico - 2
Japan - 4
Parts/Unknown - 3
If you have a parts guitar or one of mixed origin (say MIA Jag with MIJ neck) it's your call as to whether you list it as being from the country most of the parts are, or just list it separately as being of no specific country. Stick to guitars you currently own and include baritones and basses if you have those.

USA = 1 (Gig worthy)
Japan = 1 (Keep only for sentimental value)
Mexico = 2 (Gig worthy)
Korea = 2 ( Beat em ups)
I dont think just cause you own a guitar means it has some merit. Some guitars you keep cause they were gifts, were your first, ore use to work ideas out on, etc but are not good players and you would never play a gig or record with. I would say those guitars rate very low on the merit scale.

Japan - 1 (Fender CS Mustang)
Mexico - 1 (Fender CP Jazzmaster)
Sweden - 1 (Hagsrom II)
China - 1 (Squier JMJM)
Indonesia - 3 (Squier VM Jaguar, Squier CV Pbass, DeArmond M75)
USA - 1 (USACG/Warmoth/Mighty Mite)
All perfectly capable instruments. except for the DeArmond but that's more my fault than anything else.

Japan: 3
Canada: 1
Korea: 2 (waiting on another one to arrive)
Unknown/Parts: 2
Indonesia: 2
I have others that I inherited, but don't know so well; primarily acoustics.
My Korean guitars are Schecters and a G&L, all great players, and my Japanese instruments are all Fenders, likewise great quality.
