err... don't they share the same knobs ??
Mustang knobs are considerably smaller than Jaguar knobs, but look the same.

I swapped my Mustang knobs out for Jaguar knobs on my CAR Competition Mustang.

Sorry, I misunderstood you were talking those knobs. I thought you were referring to the swapping normal Jaguar knobs for the Mustang knobs, not the KC Jaguar knobs.

just saying it's misleading to make a blanket statement about knob size, when some people might not know that it's the japanese ones which are smaller. they're much harder to grip on account of them being so tiny. try fiddling with one on a darkened stage, it's no fun. i've had various types of knob in my hands over the years, and i find older ones much more satisfying. they're often worn smooth with years of handling. try it sometime.

They use the same knobs. The American original and AVRI ones are bigger with a set screw for CTS pots, the Japanese and Mexican and Squier reissue ones are for press-on knurled split shafts.

I appreciate the info. I have only owned two Fender Mustangs.

One was a project Mustang that I installed Bronco knobs on and the other is a Japanese Comp-Stang, which came with the smaller knobs. That means my Comp-stang is more vintage correct. :)

I was not aware the old Jags and Mustangs knobs were the same. Now I know.

Well Shit. I forgot to post this. I mounted the pickups and the toggle to the guard plus quick mock up. I have a miniature problem though. Anyone know how to fix this to without using bigger screws like I have tried already?... The Texas special mounting holes got stripped.. Fucking expensive pickup and the mounting hole is plastic. I don't get Fenders logic. That's the same shit with a Duncan Dimebucker.. I had the same problem.
