I saw it on CL and thought it once belonged to a Shortscale member.

I do remember a picture of someones guitar with a vintage floral decal of some sort.
Not sure if that's it but it does look familiar.

I don't usually like decals on guitar bodies, but if it was not easily removed I could live with it.

Someday the frankensonic is going to turn up again on the internets. I'd love to know where that damned thing is...

It looks like one of the guitars that westtexas or that tough Chicago dude with the prisonstang would have.

I did have a question about something the seller said about the tremolo.
Also the tremolo plate if pushed too hard will "pop" and detune the strings. This particular problem can not be repaired as they no longer make parts for this model. If played properly, the tremolo should not be an issue if extreme force is not exerted on it.
Is something wrong with this particular Bronco trem or do you think they just don't have it set up properly? I have never seen a Bronco in person so I don't know.

This looks right to me (other than the missing arm);

If you fuck about with the bar with no strings on the bridge plate will 'pop off' the pivot bolts, but pops straight back on its own.
Not a problem at all, I think they're pretty sturdy pieces of kit, and tuning on mine is rock solid despite the allegedly shite 'F' tuners.

I have not had any trouble with any of the F-tuners I have had either and I have them on my Mullet-stang, Coronado II, and my old Musicmaster.

The seller also claims to have the tremolo bar as well. Those numbered knobs on the Bronco go for a pretty penny on eBay these days.

I designed a trem lock for that so it will stay in tune if a string breaks. Never got around to prototyping it though....

Doesn't alter the guitar at all either. 100% reversible.

Yup, but he sold it to someone else who put on the decal on if my memory's right. One way to tell for sure Bramble had it would be to look at the headstock. Someone had installed a string tree that went across all six strings near the nut, but then removed it and had the holes filled. No pics of the headstock in the ad.

I am actually trying to trade for this guitar. Still a chance it might happen.

Looks like this trade will happen. I got the seller to send my some pics of the neck and headstock.

Looks to be in very good condition for a nearly original guitar. It kinda looks like there were two holes that were filled because they show up on the front and back of the headstock.

When did Broncos start getting the all metal "F" tuners? I know the early ones had the White plastic knobs. This Bronco is advertised as around 1970ish

I am guessing early 70's just because it has the numbered Bronco knobs.

pics from the seller:

Of course it belonged to an Offsetter, it's got flowers on it... Cissiesetters !!

Sold on because there's no way of adding an amber switch tip or Mastery bridge.
