I started my own thread about this 69 jaguar, but I thought I'd be a total whore and put it here, too.

Is it me or I see lots of lefties in this forum?

Anyway, here are my only short-scales:

Latest acquire:

Tried a neck swap:

Did a radical mod on my sunburst...3-way toggle switch, Hotrails added and black pickguard:
Image

And here are the final configurations...the Oly white jag got it neck back and fitted with SJAG1s pickups (which I'm gonna replace with AV ones)

Boy you have awesome guitars yourself!! 8)

Heh...that's my bedroom wall...after years of wear and tear  It does make a good backdrop for taking pics tho *lol*

Here's how it normally looks (my gear corner above my doubledeck bed *lol*):

(old pic: not updated with my latest Oly white jag acquisition yet. Sorry if the other axes are not short-scaled  )

take some close ups of those sjag3's!!!!

did you have to mod the covers at all? I know when i stuffed mine in my mustang, they bowed the crap out of the covers.
For robroe:

(my camera sucks)

They fit fine in the jag covers.

p.s. Someone over at the FDP e-mailed me a zipped copy of the Jaguar Dressing Room last week so if anyone wants it let me know. He said they're going to post it on the site sometime soon, along with the Jazzmaster Dressing Room.

2003 CIJ Fender Jaguar JGS-78 Jaguar Special - Stock (for now)
I've come a long way since then...

The amp in the background is an early '70s Ampeg VT22.

About the black abalone pickguard - the guy at Jeannie pickguards cut the humbucker screw holes just a tiny bit too big (still an awesome guard, though!), the screws kept falling out thus the humbuckers kept falling out and getting stuck to the strings, so I'm using duct-tape to keep them in for the time being.

Also, the tone pot shaft is a bit too small for all the knobs I've tried, they kept falling off. I'm gonna replace the volume pot with a push/pull pot to enable coil tapping eventually, and use the left-over volume pot as the tone pot so I can have two knobs again. Despite all these downfalls, this guitar plays and sounds better than anything else I've laid my hands on.

Greed is a bottomless pit
And our freedom?s a joke
We?re just taking a piss
And the whole world must watch the sad comic display
If you?re still free start running away
Cause we?re coming for you!
