I've heard good things about 'The Paul'. It's something I'd like to pick up at some point.

A friend of mine 'the Paul' for years and it weighed a TON! The thing was so out of balance your left arm started to ache if you played it too long. It set up well and was definitely Gibson quality (whatever that means) and played well if you were sitting down. Great tone and resonance because it was solid block of wood but not easy to manage because of the weight. He sold it for more than he paid for it too.

Like the SG, not the Paul.

My bandmate saw a vintage spare TRC display at Guitar Showcase once and instructed me to buy the one that said "The Paul" immediately.

I almost bought one once. I would like a guitar that says FIREBRAND on it. They were no frills at the time.

Played a firebrand SG once, loved it but they wanted way to much for it. and also i dont like that the input jack is on the bottom instead of the front.

I like the case. You can use it as a stand for string changes.

I almost bought one back when I was in college. There was a shop selling one for $250 which seemed liked a pretty good deal. I don't remember it being heavier than I expected it to be and I liked the way it sounded. One of my friends wound up buying it because I needed to put my money towards a new computer instead. I think I remember somebody saying that the dirty fingers pickups originated in that guitar.

bind and block the neck on that thing and add a counterfeit Fender wateslide decal to the headstock and you could sell it on ebay as the PaulK1.

The bare look reminds me of Bob Marley's LP Special.

If I didn't have bills to pay, I'd grab it.
