Yeah, *I* knew what you meant. Later Dunlop reissues, some didn't use PNPs, and most IIRC were silicon transistors rather than the good ol' Germaniums. Thus, some of the reissues weren't pos ground. The history of the FF is complex, very difficult to generalize. There were several different versions of the circuit since it was first made, and the reissues were all different somewhat also.
