OK after reading this article http://www.fender.com/news/a-tale-of-tw ... eadstocks/

I'm a large headstock fan on the strat, which Strat headstock do you prefer?

Large. I don't really like strats with the regular one. Think the large headstock is the prettiest Fender headstock.

I like the look the large headstock more, but most of my favorite models of Strat happen to have small ones like 50s and 60s RIs.

I like both the Jaguar and Mustang headstocks more than the CBS Strat shape on the "large Fender headstock" side of things though.

Same here. My favourite is the '66 Strat as it's a nice compromise between logo and headstock, so it makes it a bit more interesting.

Pretty much all my guitars have the larger Fender Headstock. The J Mascis Jazzmaster headstock is slightly smaller but the matching painted headstock makes it appear larger. Even my Jazzmaster build I have on hold, I bought are neck with the larger headstock. If I ever buy a Strat I hope it will have a larger headstock.

Other than my 63 JM, I would say large all the way.

That would be my ideal Strat. Perhaps in burgundy mist.

Large, the small one just looks uptight. Also the large is more like the original Bigsby Merle Travis one for history sake though I prefer the Fender version

Don't worry George, it's what you do with it that counts.

Big head for the win. I think my all time favourite is an Oly Strat with maple neck, big stock and bullet truss. Preferably well aged. I love Teh yngwie malmstain

I don't really notice the difference unless I see them both side by side, which I guess is probably because I have no preference.

Hey! It's the 'play loud' strat! Because 'play loud' is scribbled on a tiny piece of masking tape. Hairspray tosser.
