One of my all time favourite guitars is the USA 52 RI.
When I did my work experience at a guitar shop I literally spent the entire week playing one of these. I came so close to buying one when I got my strat and part of me does wish I chose the tele.

Definitive Tele is the Baja. It's the teliest Tele.
If I could only have one though, it would still be my aerodyne. Tele bridge pickup, p-90 neck pickup, 7.5" radius, carved top, binding, glossy black and matching headstock. Pretty much a dream guitar.

Fucking loved the Aerodynes. With the Tele, they could easily have gone the twin humbucker Les Paul proxy route, but they didn't. They stuck with what was still quite a "tele" setup with two single-coils (albeit changing the neck to a P90), which in an odd way was much braver.BacchusPaul wrote:Definitive Tele is the Baja.
