I found this in a box with some old pickups an stuff. I have no idea what the hell it is. It's VERY heavy, about the same width as a Strat pickup, maybe a touch wider. Pictured here with a black Robroe to give you a sense of scale. It is a 3 screw pickup.

Dunno, are those vintage P-bass singlecoils bigger that usual guitar singlecoils? I always thought they were the same size. I wonder if it's some sort of replacement. Otherwise, no idea!
Is it one of those low-impedance doohickeys that come on Les Paul copies like the 80s Ibanez lawsuits?
Spotted that thing a few days back and was all WHAT.
They do the guitar versions, too.
I want one (Bass version) badly now. Seems expensive for a little known brand though
These worth a fuck then? I know somewhere on Denmark St stocks these but only the guitars. Never really been that arsed about them.
Well it seems to be the new company that Alan Entwistle is involved with. He's been making pickups for Hofner and Burns for a while, then attached his name to Alden guitars, Chinese-made stuff with some really cool designs, cheap as chips and actually really quite good. Now he seems to be plugging Revelation guitars as his new home. The rest of the range looks a bit bum compared to the Les Paul recording basses/guitars to be honest, and they look like they've been designed only to show off the specs of his new low impedance pickup copies (which I'm assuming is the same type of pickup that went into the Marauder above, considering it always looked like a parts guitar to me).
Seems a bit expensive for Chinese guitars but where else will you find that model of Les Paul sub-£1000? Nowhere, that's where. I do fancy that bass, though..
