The final NGD day.....for reals

Post by Progrockabuse »

So, I've had a proper big gear overhaul the past month or so. Pretty much upgraded anything I've owned and then some. The Investment scheme at work and my bounses have pretty much funded all of this, so not had to touch my savings, much.So I've been sensible and adult about it all. Things I've purchased will retain their value so could be sold if needed in an emergency.

There was just one thing missing.....

I picked this up second hand on George's advice. I've always wanted a decent electric 12 string, the prog rock fan in me craved it big style. Wouldn't buy a new dano, but went for this at a steal. Arrived at work this morning and I'm currently hiding out the back of the store jangling away

looks nice rob, the colour looks so rich against that stark white guard and minimalist controls.

Nice addition Rob. Very jealous of all the great stuff you've picked up over the last few weeks.

Are you sure this will be the end? ;)

I'm pretty sure bearboy, I'd set myself a budget for this and I'm pretty much at that limit now. The next thing is to think hard about selling some of the stuff I wont play or don't need. My esp tele will go, the Baja l may even release back into shortscale so at least I could get it back if I really missed it. My original strat may go to Kay's brother for him to have on extended loan.
Essentially I think I'm gonna get it down to just the new guitars and the bass.

Let there be Stairway jangle!

You've certainly got all basses covered, and it's so nice that a decent 12-stringer has rounded out your present collection.

It's a sound I've always craved and I did own a daisy rock 12 string (now nickd's). I know this evening I'll be trying to nail genesis 12 string parts again.

Damn, man. You're living the gear dream, and I'm glad you can. That's a pretty cool guitar.

Can't quite say I've ever seen these in anything but black, as that colour seems really refreshingly awesome to me. Enjoy!
