So, I'd like to know if there are other cheap alternatives to the Mooer Lofi Machine and the Hotone Krush, for who doesn't know what they are they're bit modulators and simulate some strange, cool videogamish sounds.

Cheaper than the Mooer? Not likely, bud.

When I was looking for a cheap one I bought the Mooer. I somewhat regret my hastiness in lieu of a pricier albeit MORE FUN bitcrush pedal now like all the other cool shit coming out.

It's the same as the Mooer one, but rebranded.

Yeah, the 'bitcrusher' plugin in Cubase is a load of fun. Sounds sick on bass. e.g. something I recorded absolutely ages ago, with the bitcrushing kicking in at 1:50 onwards: Lank

It would be kinda cool to get that in a pedal though - I'm not sure if the latest version includes it...I'm still on C5 Essential, but Steinberg are up to 8 or something the last time I checked.
