2002-2003 Fender Cyclone

Post by HNB »

I picked this up for a great price because it was so nice looking. It is one of the last models that was HH with a black guard, but someone had put an aged pearl guard on it and the other cyclone pickups in it. I think it looks great. I even got the loaded stock pickguard with dual humbuckers in case I wanted it to go back to stock. Came with a hard case, extra pickguard and an extra control plate. Felt like a steal since it was under $500. I haven't seen a Pewter one for sale. (Been camping reverb and ebay for a white MIM Cyclone, so that is how I saw this one.)

Basically in mint condition. No scratches or dings. Seller said it was a closet guitar which explains how it looks so new. Here are a couple pictures.

Cyclones have never really hit me, but this one sure looks good. I think that colour combo fits modern-era Fenders perfectly.

I know myself though, used to think musicmasters look strange, and now I love them and own several. I bet I'll have a cyclone in 5 years time. I also bet it wont cost under $500 then

Thanks! These have good pickups in them. Not often that I don't feel the need to change pickups in a guitar. :)

MOtherfucking W00t.

I still can't figure out if I want to keep mine, but if it was that color instead of red I would not be confused!

I used to be a DiMarzio clip-lok dude but then i found the Couch straps and i basically wont use anything else. Theyre the only straps that i trust like a strap lock setup.

I use Dunlop Dual Design Strap Locks. That way I could use normal straps or the locking system ones. I dropped a bass while practicing once and decided I wouldn't have that happen again. :)

my buddy has one that is yellow like the one that red posted. he also has an orange toronado. I really need to get some pics of those to show you guys. he had me make him a tort guard for the toro, which i thought would look like shit, but when i put it on, it looked fucking ace.
