Nifty Duo-Sonic

Maybe these wimpy indie stylings aren't everyone's cup 'o joe (I'm personally digging it), but you gotta love that Fender.

Duo-Sonic with a more Stratty scratchplate? I've never seen one with that bridge and no metal control plate. Goddamn love it, I feel a new build coming on...

edit: guess it's the MIM, right?

Pretty sure it's a MIM Musicmaster with an added neck pup and a few mods.
They did them in this colour with the exact same scratchplate.

*Edit* I could be wrong, the SP was different, and headstock OSG Link.

I know them! They are from my hometown area but relocated to Brooklyn last year. First met them when I bought a pedal from their bass player off craigslist, though that was when he was doing this other band with the Florist guitar player called The Firs.

I believe the guitar is a refinished 90s duosonic.

That one was Chinese as f$%^.

It might be a refinished 1990s Mexican Duo-Sonic.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

I don't have hate to that kind of music, but I agree it is kind of annoying to hear one after another winy bands that look and sound like twins. The NPR minidesk or KEXP channel sometimes look like an infinite wining festival
