There's a lot of Japanese FSR, even Squier FSR made in China but only available in Japan.

Personally I don't think that's Sherwood; looks slightly different. Probably some color exclusive to the Japanese market.

the grey mustang is an oddball for sure. usually they did they grey with a blue headstock not a grey headstock. and i have only seen two of those before as well.


A long time ago there was an example of a black MIJ mustang that the seller reckoned was late 80's early 90's. I thought he was confused. But yes it does turn out Fender Japan made black mustangs in Japan for one year only, its in a catalog somewhere.
