Anyone have experience with them? I've been listening to Pinback a lot lately and really want to explore that sound. Apparently you can just use a regular bass if it has a nut cut for the lower gauge strings, but that seems odd. Maybe something like an Ibanez Mikro bass? Or a baritone guitar for six strings (assuming you can find strings that will work)?
