I had a problem getting the Alstang (pre all of Robs hard work) to settle and hold tune when it turned up. Rob's right though they put shitey strings on them, I am extremely heavy handed so I found it very difficult to get it to hold tune and not go mega sharp when making even basic chords.

After about 2 - 3 days it chilled out though and I started seeing the potential. Nut needed fixing and a set of elevens, the packaging was rubbish tbh so it came with the vol knob stuck cos it had been bashed during transport (quick fix, pull the fucking thing and it popped back into position and gave me no more trouble).

I'll be buying one for myself soon and doing an Rob to it. Alstang inspired me.

GAK's got these now for £129. I was hoping these would make their way over here.

BREAK NUT BY PUTTING 12S ON IT - PRICELESS

I was actually looking at these yesterday, but decided against yet another cheap guitar for the sake of how it looks
