I bought one of those for $5 and gave it to my friend. I don't think they cost $60 new.

I'll let you know. I've been without a shortscale for a while so I thought I would take a chance on this and see how it cleans up. Should be in this week.
Thought I would watch the classifieds for a Squier tremolo and bridge.

Yeah, I saw it that morning before work and I resisted. Worked half the day then went to lunch. When I got back to the office I thought I would check again. I was sure it would be gone by then but it wasn't so I had no choice.

i think its just bumps in the fretboard.

There is indeed a fret under all that gunk.

Look at the crud in the switches. The pickups and wiring are all surprisingly working but will need a butt load of cleaning.

Made by Aria.

Nah, it has a "made in China" sticker on the heel of the neck. It does look well made though.

I’m jealous I missed out on this one, GFS’ new distribution center is like a half hour from where I live. I could have had it shipped in an afternoon

That was one fast delivery. Is the body strat/tele thick? It seemed so from the GFS photos
