NGD: 1975 Mustang

Post by Noisy Cat »

I mentioned in my other thread that I'd seen this, and since then it had continued keeping me awake at night. This is my first ever vintage guitar, just got it home. Feels and sounds great.

It had been advertised for about a month and during that time the seller reduced the price a couple of times. So I made a slightly lower offer and he said yes!

I travelled to the other side of London to collect. Great condition, very clean. Comes with the original hard case. Missing the little screw that holds in the trem bar.

It's currently set up with 10s, I will put 11s on asap. Will also fit my Staytrem bridge. This will replace my MIJ 65RI, which I will now try to sell.

For now, here are the photos from the ad:

Much less gloss than my 65RI, I don't know if it would have come from the factory like this or if it has worn off over the years.

Feels a tad skinnier at the nut but chunkier as you move down. All good.

Nah it's not heavy; I don't have any scales but it feels roughly the same as my MIJ.
