I do use pounds and ounces sometimes!

I'm getting a freestanding metal rail so I can hang my guitars without drilling into the wall (rented house innit), and the maximum weight capacity for these rails all seems to be measured in kilograms. Needed to know the combined weight of my guitars so I could figure out which rail to buy.

Also I am extremely young and virile, and you are all old as fuck.

Les Paul (which doesn’t have any weight relief) - 3.88kg
Jazzmaster - 3.8kg.

I knew my LP was fairly light, but surprised how close to the JM weight it is.

The Howard Marks of Halifarx sounds like a strong song title if ever I heard one

I decided to go weigh my guitars after my recent heavy bass-capades and holy moly:

Fender Jaguar: 3.7 kg / 8.3 lbs
Squier Classic Vibe Tele: 3.9 kg / 8.5 lbs
Epiphone Wilshire: 2.7 kg / 6 lbs
Epiphone Les Paul SL: 2.4 kg / 5.3 lbs
Harley Benton Bass: 5.2 kg / 11.5 lbs

wearing the wilshire and the lp sl at the same time is lighter than that bass.

You don't really expect the Les Paul to be the lightest guitar on that list.
