Very tempting to buy a bass VI nomatter squier's shortscomings...lucky for me i'm lefthanded. :D I like basses...i like guitars...

Looking forward to how the catwalk flats compare after setup !

Believe so. The wires are different on the Middle pickup.

Your string break fears are not unfounded, I’ve had one break and slice my forehead, and another particularly nasty and tetanus coated B stab into my hand when it snapped.

Bass vi update.

Have installed a Avantguard tort pickguard and turned it into a Baritone tuned A.

Also had a go wax potting the bridge pickup ( all of the pickups are microphonic) but haven't had a chance to see if it worked
