Watched your video again before pulling the trigger, commented in such a way as to rekindle the lucrative Behringer deal.

I've enjoyed HM-2 usage in the past... great for getting shoegaze tones and other heavy sounds without all the Muff mud. Will probably grab one of these if they're not priced over $200.

They benefit so much from adding a mid gyrator control to complement the lo and hi colour mixes

That would have been a decent waza mod

Such a daft silly pedal

Is the stock HM-2 a modified DS-1?

Nope

It’s a completely different and much more complicated circuit

The original is one of my favorite pedals... have never understood the "obviously everything has to be on max" belief has loads of great tones. I'd buy a behringer these days mind.

Same here. Don't know if I've ever actually cranked everything to the max tbh.

Was quite interested in this but if the custom mode or whatever is just extra gain then I don't think I'll bother. A non-Swedish Death Metalz Chainsaw demo would be useful.

Couldn't you have just followed made by Miike's example and called yourself Beenecool?

That high knob is a mids knob. It impacts something like 890 and 1100 with a really distinctive twin peak.
