According to the website, it's absolutely a BBD-based analog circuit.

All analogue, no idea what BBD chips are used but I would imagine surface mount. EHX say it's quieter than the XO enclosure so there's some upgraded circuitry going on.
If it wasn't for my JAM Delay Llama Xtreme I'd be all over one of these
