A one-man wedding band

Post by Doog »

In lieu of actually putting out new music (I'm still writing, albeit slowly), I've spent a lot of the pandemic recording covers of existing music, mostly to have focus that isn't based around work/charity/supporting a unionised workplace/thinking about death.

In a fit of complete genius, I've named the series 'Doog Plays', and here is what I did yesterday:

You can see everything I've done (from partial songs and play-alongs to tv themes) on this hashtag that no-one else uses for some reason: http://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/doogplays/

Watched it, good job.

I’m going to extrapolate petty to Tom Petty to calling you breakdown.

Based on how long the video took to edit on my phone (despite being basic af), I was pretty close to the latter

Eh, it's easy enough, just longwinded and the timings become fucking tedious (and I always end up with some stuff out of sync). Promised myself to do it all on a bigboy computer in future.
