I remember being surprised at the weight when Mrs NickD and I picked it up.

(in before 'so heavy it took both of us' jokes)

Thanks to whoever put the spoilers on my post. It was a bit long

I have rather long lists of have/sold. Kind of embarrassed about it as it shows a lot of money spent over the years chasing sounds (tonez!), indecision, and flakiness and I'm a hack to boot. I mainly played synths for most of my life and the list reflects that but I've primarily been screwing around (not much of a player) with guitars and pedals over the last several years as I got burned out on synths and the pedantic nature of synth forums, which of course is also present in a lot of guitar forums.

Thank you for reminding me I've owned a Vox Delay Lab (noisy power hungry confusing af bastard) and a Microkorg

Yeah, the DelayLab had a lot of options (just like the DD-500 I used to have) and took up a lot of space--I just didn't bond with it. I sold it a few years ago to a guy who was planning on using it with this synths (he had a couple of the newer Moogs). The SDD-3000 reminds me of it in some ways (similar look/footprint), but I like it a lot more than the DelayLab.

I couldn't bond with the microKorg's UI, especially after having previously had an MS2000. Good sounding synth, though. Korg released a VST version of it within the last year and it sounds pretty good.

all items in order of acquisition. most have years they were built as i remember them, but my memory is definitely not as clear as you get down to the pedals so i mostly didn't bother there. (disposition in parenthesis when applicable)
