Rathbone No. 1

Post by NickS »

I popped down to look at acoustic guitars in Guitar Village for an hour today and came away with an itch for a Rathbone short scale acoustic.

Guitar Village's ad says it's 36" scale  but the brand website says otherwise.

"A few inches shorter than its larger grand concert-sized sibling, this baby-concert guitar is more than capable of holding its own in a musical melee. Packed with mid-range power, the No.1 was designed with comfort and playability forefront. The shorter 23" / 590mm scale length allows everyone, young or old, to pick or strum effortlessly, forming chords along the full length of the neck."

Hmm, it's £60 cheaper at Wembley Music Centre.
