Music stang!

I have had this musicmaster neck for.... 15 years or more. And I'm positive it came from.someone in this group. About 2 years ago I took one of those economy Squier mustangs and completely butchered it. Added a proper bridge. Made a new guard and threw a single p-90 in the bridge. It has since become my number 1 RAWK machine.

I thought I'd already commented in this thread.

This looks brilliant. A hot and tapped P-90 would be great here. Full coil for something pushing a humbucker, tapped coil for vintage toanz.

This would be a far better addition to the Grandad's Secrets series or whatever bullshit Fender call their weird factory-modded guitars.

...out there, somewhere, there's gotta be a warehouse of lonely Musicmaster bodies with missing necks.

Here's my BroncoMaster

Looks like it could tell some interesting stories if it could speak. Extra holes, tape...?

Yep under the tape it has holes/ routes for more pots. It's been savagely routed, I guess it had a Bigsby and some sorta ToM on it at some point...

I had some remplacement saddles made, new guard and one of my beloved old DiMarzio SDS-1 into it.
It's my main backup guitar :D

The BroncoBlaster? You know, i was never really sure, but i THINK it was refinished. Also custom guard with Mustang control plate. But everything well done.
Picked that one up in Mexico about 15 years ago. Still love it, tis a keeper.
