they both sound awesom. the badcat can dial in almost any tone i want. it also has a switch that swithes from 40 watts to 20 watts. the marshall is amazingly loud for only 15 watts. it has killer tone.

Was the Marshall originally a rack-mount affair that's been put into a fancy chassis then? I was wondering, because the cab looks far too classy for a Marshall.

Yeah, except Dan has the 30 watt / 2-10 model. I'm not sure if his has reverb either.

No, the Studio 15 was a small, all tube 1-12 combo model.

No, recapping the Twin was no problem. I also retubed it with new JJs. One of the issues is that once in a while, when i power it up, it makes a loud hum and blows the fuse. I haven't been able to trace the problem since it is intermittent. i suspect it's arcing somewhere.

If and when I find and fix the problem, I'll probably sell it for around $600.
