I've been eyeing the presonus fp10 quite a bit of ins so you can mic drums if you have to or whatever and it's relatively inexpensive.

That's a nice looking bass. I'm GASing for a bass myself and I've had my eye on the Squier Jag bass but I haven't played it yet. This is a nice looking bass, though, wank headstock or not.

10 years ago if you were on the internet to communicate with other people for any amount of time you were a social misfit destined to be shunned but now the internet is cool. Spend a whole weekend on Facebook? Awesome! You'll have friends in no time! The misfits are now the people that don't use the...

Thanks for the advice zedoktor! Modding my Jagmaster has been a huge goal that I've been wanting to start. And since I've got my vacation from college coming up, I need something to do. I checked out guitarfetish.com and they've got a huge selection of parts. I'm most likely going to get the stuff ...

Some people, like me, can't leave well enough alone so they mod stuff.i put some GFS pickups in mine and I like the way they sound a little better but that was the goal I had in mind.i didn't do it on a whim.if you have a goal then go for it and we'll help you get there but part of that help is also...

I hear very good things about the Fender Mustang modeling amps. There's a little one for $99 I believe. I have a Vox AC4TV that's compact and does some work. Bugera also sells a 5w tube amp that is more affordable and gets good enough reviews, I would have bought that one had they been in stock.

I did the coil split on my Jagmaster and it's not as cool as I thought it was going to be or as cool as some other people make it out to be but it's easy enough to just not use it. Stock tuners do well enough, IMO. And that whole double toggle thing in place of the three way is going to make your li...

Solder is like $4 for a little spool. An iron can go from $8 to $80 but mayhaps it'd be better if you found someone a little more experienced. It would suck to ruin the mic.

You might be able to trace the stock piece and get a metal shop to cut one out for you. Then you should be able to drill out the hole for the 3-way.

That's my Jagmaster. I swapped out pickups and installed a push/pull which is why I took a picture of the stock wiring (in the event that I broke it I could always revert). I've bought all my stuff online so far, Musican's Friend and GuitarFetish being the two primary sites. Other than Sam Ash I onl...

I looked it up and I imagine that it should work fine. I got kinda stuck wiring my guitar up so I ended up having to use some automotive wire (which is stranded) to extend some of the leads and my guitar still works but I don't know if there's any negative effects from this.
