Lovely looking machine. I had a Greco that was a similar design, but sounded like crap. It had a shitty solid bar saddle that couldn't intonate, the pickups were pish and the neck was tiny at the nut to the point that I couldn't form chords without hitting the other strings. This looks a lot better....

Now, now.... let's not be starting that one over again. Weeping moon likes his guitar (so do I for that matter) and others disagree. No need to get all worked up about it. Why not just shake hands, a wee kiss and a bit of friendly spooning? What ya say guys? Chums forever?

Buy the Fender second hand. Try it out. If you don't like it then sell it on, or if it's not as described then send it back and buy a Squier instead... or try again with another Fender?

My mate used to have a Vaccaro which uses the same design of neck. Really great sounding guitar and a lefty which would probably make it pretty rare now. He knocked it off his table and the neck broke really bad. Couldn't fix it as they had gone out of business by then so just got the insurance mone...

Yeah I know Jim. I was at Ayr College at the same time as him hung out a wee bit at Art School. Wish he'd done more with his guitar playing, he's pretty good as I remember. Great painter to. Used to have the big room on the first floor of one those flats... was never up to the same partytastic stand...

I agree about cds... but then who plays tapes either. I like the idea just have a real hatred for tapes. Too many chewed and wot not. Shame vinyl isn't cheaper to produce, I fucking love a bit of vinyl me ken. Ten squid for the lot is a bloody good deal though. Will check my funds after the weekend....
