Malekko Spring Chicken to make splash happen

Post by Freethenoise »

I got this because I missed the reverb in my Hiwatt when I don't take it to gigs.

It definitely makes reverb a thing.

It also has a bird on it.

His name is Colin.

It should be. I bought mine from Prymaxe a couple of weeks ago.
It's still listed on the Malekko website.

Relevant to my interests....I've been after a good reverb pedal and after all my youtube research feel that Malekko makes what I need. I LOVE the Spring Chicken but is the Omicron series "Spring" just the same thing in a smaller enclosure without the expression out and cool chicken design?

I've never tried the Spring so I can't really testify to how it sounds in person. After doing a little digging, it seems that the algorithm is slightly different.

I'd say that you'd be pretty hard pressed to find much difference in a blind shootout though.
