My thoughts....

- Like the white one looks-wise the best, but no rhythm circuit and no tremolo is a dealbreaker for me with Jazzmasters

- I love cobalt blue, but if I were to do that on a Mustang, it'd be with a pearloid pickguard and black pickups and switches. Also, part of the reason I like the Mustang is the vibrato unit.

- Kind of like the Jazzmaster, though I think it'd have looked better with a BLACK pickguard on it. With the gold it looks a bit like a Fire Truck to me.

- Never liked the Jazzmaster Baritones, I'll stick to my Bass VI

Andertons have got official details of these up now: LANK

Blurb:
The Squier Offset range has just been announced including new models like the Bullet Mustang and familiar favourites like the Baritone Jazzmaster!
We’re a few weeks away from NAMM 2017 and a few companies have started releasing some information on what to expect for the year. And due to the popularity of the Fender Offsets, Squier have added some affordable models to the range.

What’s on offer?

There are 5 new models that include:

Bullet Mustang HH – Available in Black or Imperial Blue.
Affinity Series Jazzmaster HH – Available in Black or Olympic White
Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster – Blackout
Deluxe Jazzmaster ST (Stop Tail) – Candy Apple Red
Deluxe Jazzmaster w/ Trem – Candy Apple Red

The Offsets were made popular by guitarists like Kurt Cobain who used Jazzmasters and Mustangs to great effect, creating wild, raucous music and these new Squier models were designed to do the same thing. Whether that be aggressive grunge or cleaner indie-pop styles.
They’re comfortable to play with a modern C-Shaped neck and a 12″ radius giving the fretboard quite a ‘flat’ feel. This helps with players that are just starting, or for those who just want an easy-to-play instrument.

The Return of the Baritone

The Jazzmaster Baritone was one of the coolest instruments that Squier released over the last few years and when their Antigua coloured model was discontinued, we were just waiting for a replacement and now you can get your hands on an awesome looking Blackout model with all Black hardware, block inlays and some high-powered P90 pickups for high gain tones.
I'm not a Teh nerd but I thought he used Jags rather than Jazzmasters.

It's a funny-shaped HH Strat, guys.

No reverb handle, no singles, no switches, no service.

Intriguing. So I assume that the nut is cut for A - A tuning but the 30" scale means fatter gauge fun with even more detuning, eh?

Not a fan of blackout hardware, but while you're at it I reckon one might as well find some kind of bridge solution + add a blackout Bigbsy B500 set all the way back & 1-ply black guard. Sounds like a Squier Bass VI might be a better choice for me by that time.

But, Andi, don't they say the stock Squier Bass VI bridge needs to be replaced?
