All 1971. I bought it refinished natural and refinished in Sonic Blue myself.

Stewarts thread about bands that deserve attention reminded me that this is in fact my dream guitar...

I'll freely admit to being a bit of an Albini fan boy, but my love for the guitar is pure. It could be owned by 'The Edge' and I would still think it was about as good as guitars can be. I'm not a believer in paying huge sums of money for guitars, but if I had the option to do it, the only guitars I can think of that I would spend £2k on are an early Jazzmaster in a sexy colour and a TB500. The Albini connection actually puts me off a bit, but it does look amazing.

I saw pics of the first TB recently. It was in an LP jr style, similar to what Gordon Smith GS models are now, but with the metal still. It looked great, I'd love to have one like it. I'll find the pics.

It's not perfect by any means, the knobs sit in a weird place and are a shit looking type. As protoypes guy it's great though.

Since it says dream guitar, mine is a 50/50 tie between A Les Paul Traditional in gold(yes the new ones) and an original 72 telecaster deluxe.

My dream bass would be an early 70's Jazz bass, black w/ black guard and maple with blocks. Or a Nordstrand. That would depend on what band I'm with upon receiving said dream bass.

mine's in my signature, its not mine but I am looking after it for a little while. It's like the really bad teenage scenario of having a really hot cousin stay with your family over the summer.

the cunt that owns that one probably bought them all up for about $500. the amount of guitars he's hoarding makes me feel ill.

"jeez, well i bought this custom colour, mint condition 1958 strat for $3 back in '75, and i liked it so much i bought another 50 of them."
