Thats a cool looking supersonic, but your Ibanez Rocket Roll II model is really nice.

just make sure you check it a lot and you can find some good deals. I got my '78 musicmaster bass with the original case for only $300, and my Univox hi-flier for $250. I just check it constantly.

ibanez

Post by harrisbquinn »

thanks, im gonna put that ibanez on ebay soon....it was another craigslist find...i cant part witht the supersonic though....its so much fun to play...ive kinda been a gibson/taylor scale guitar player all my life but my buddy has a 97 vista jagmaster so i went on the prowl for something vista....the only thing that could make it better would be if it was white....i saw one recently that was white with chrome knobs and pup covers and it was badass.....

Love the Ibanez. It's much nicer than the Supersonic.

ibanez

Post by harrisbquinn »

yeah the rocket roll is sweet....theres one on ebay for 1400 BIN and one with a single bid of 700 and one with several bids thats up to 4 something...i got this one off the charleston craigslist for next to nothing....the square jackplate isnt original though...i dont know what the deal is with that but the guy i bought it from was the original owner and i didnt ask him about it and ive lost his phone number so the world may never know but it is a great playing guitar. if anyone is interested in it let me know and maybe ill skip ebay....its definitely not shortscale though....personally i think the supersonic is a way cooler guitar but it isnt a set neck and it is short scale.....and the ibanez stays in tune way better.

I just got offered a black supersonic (with black pickguard) for NZ$500... weighing it up against getting two greenbacks and having my head up and running again. If I buy it I'll still be noodling through a crap practice amp for the next month. Tempting though.
