Turd brown jag is hot and as an avid volume sweller I like the placement of the volume knob, but then it got all strat jack. The sunburst version looks grody without a pickguard. It reminds me of a guitar version of Jaco Pastorius' bass, but less cool.

This could be the ultimate example of a beautiful guitar rendered butt ugly. Haet.

with more color options and at least a minimal guard on it, that's a dead ringer for the toronado i got rid of several years ago. i'd play the fuck out of it, if they'd just paint it something nicer. the tones remind me of my hh jag (after the p90 mod).

i can't get over how they thought that 3-way switch placement was a good idea. it looks so whack

it actually worked really well there for me when i had the toronado. it was just close enough that i could swipe it really easy, but far enough out of the way that i didn't clumsily switch it on accident.

My point in the previous thread, only the Toronado is aesthetically better balanced.

These should appeal to me for many reasons but they dont.

*affects nasal, high pitched, estuary English accent*

Is it because it's too dangerous even for you, Fwancis?

Also, that fella must be fucking tiny - look at him compared to that Jag - he's diddy.

I'm talking smaller-than-Mike tiny.

If it had both chrome Jaguar plates it'd be pretty cool I guess. Sort of like one of the old janked out Sonic Youth Jaguars.

i'm not too big on the no pickguard look. this was much better:

so it either has to have that or at least some chrome to be a jag. . . in fact, i really don't like they're calling this a jag to perfectly honest. same reason as given about those blacktops. there's just not enough left of the jag mystique there for me to consider it one. i'd still play this or the blacktop, but i wish they'd give them other names.
