NGD: Dean stage accoustic

Post by endsjustifymeans »

Circa 1998. Transpurple. Electrocoustic.

Ugly as sin. Rare as a virgin on prom night.

I love it, and I'm apparently the only one since this has been hanging on the store wall since its release!

Am I the only one that sees an evil face in the headstock/bridge?

I know.

It scares me. I'd lock it up in a hardcase before going to bed. I'd be scared of it killing me in my sleep.

But seriously though, how's it sound? I'm curious how an acoustic with that shape sounds.

It's a bit quiet unplugged for an accoustic, but not thin at all. Not like the telecoustic, it sounds big and full like a dreadnought but quieter. Haven't plugged it in yet except to try it at the store, sounded like an amplified accoustic there.

Plays like an accoustic and is light as could be.

But seriously, cool as hell.

This guitar fails both as an acoustic and as an electric, but I like it for the WTF factor. Well done.

Will do when I get home. But to describe it, there's a block inside the acoustic and the neck is a bolt on. There's also a block under the bridge.
