yes i think you need a humbucker. Hot rails are perfect on a mustang. i was like you, i love my mustang but i've always think the sound was too "tiny", so i bought a hot rail hb and i 'm very happy with that one: http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290530737795&ssPage...

i'm gonna buy the jazz instead of the jag because the neck is thinner and the guitar is lighter.
i like both sounds and scales.
but my main guitar stay a mustang

take care, the body wood and the scale of the neck influence the sound. The pups do 60% of the sound.

and your project will cost you a lot!?

Is it the same one she is playing in the video? Is that a Squier Mustang bass? Good job. The drummer with his flannel and must...

the cij 97 00 stangs & jags have a really thin neck. When it's too thin you loose deep and sustain on the guitar sound.

thanks! :D

it's a cheap diy recording with a computer. I used a line6 pog. :? We're too poor to rent a studio and a producer. (the guy who made that video did for no money; a cool mate).
But live, i use a hotrod deluxe with boutique pedals. 8)
