Need less stickers. I never understand the sticker love - it's like buying a really nice classic car - say an E-Type - and then sticking Halfords stickers on it, and one of those bumper stickers that says 'honk if you bonk' I could see your point if it was a high dollar or vintage guitar, but with ...

My punk-ish Trio

My family is all here, and they're making small talk, though my jag-stang isn't fitting in with the others, but they get along well.

These are the easiest to use machine heads ever, they never slip either. Why don't you like them? Are you using them properly? I know it seems like a stupid question but 2 guitars I've bought second hand had then strung up similar to regular tuners, they weren't pushed into the holes at all. They'r...

I need cheap vintage style klusons without the split post!

I just can't get along with that Safe-T post design on my Jag-Stang. I need a somewhat cheap alternative that will drop right in with posts similar to (http://www.puresalemguitars.com/models/reverberation/). Any one know of any machines without that design? It'll make life much easier for me and my ...

Yeah, I think I'll keep the Jag-stang, and I'll be hopefully able to purchase the 70's modified strat in a couple months. I'll try adjusting the bridge pickup some more to see if I can get a more crunchy sound, and maybe finding a way to non permanently hard-tail it. It'd probably be way easier to b...

Jag-stang for G&L Tribute S-500, Is it worth it?

Friend offered me a trade, for a G&L S-500, tribute series, to get my Jag-stang, both are great players, but I just like the 25.5 inch scale more than the 24 inch on the Jag-stang. I've also been jonesing a lot for a strat recently, but the Jag-stang was(and if it sounded more to my liking, stil...

I'm surprised there's some haters on the Squier ... Great guitars for the most part . I've played the Squier and the Fender version Cyclones( early 2000s. Not back to back but played both ) . Both play great . Both play surprisingly different . I thought the pickups sucked on the Squier but the nec...

it felt like plastic. just like those single humbucker bullets from years back. white wood, shitty rosewood, gnarfrets, and shit tuners. only good for firewood, and they smell like burning hair when on fire. sounds like a great beginner guitar if they can straighten the neckfail. The original run h...

THIS. IS. SPARTAAAAAAAA!!!
Something just looks so right about that guitar on him.
It's the most generic strat possible, save for the rosewood fingerboard, and yet it's just so right

I'm confused as to why the black and blue ones in the original GC link are $20 more than the red and sunburst I'm thinking they just reused the prices and specs from the original run, and when the added CAR and sunburst, they had to put in whole new prices As the owner of an Electric blue Cyclone f...

I can't speak from experience, as I've never played one, but you might check out Eastwood guitars, the demos seem to make them sound nice.

I think the price may be from the fact that it's a Custom Shop model, and not a standard production John 5 tele, but that's just my guess

Disappointed that the only instrument with a rosewood fingerboard that got an update was a Jaguar Bass that just got a headstock fill in. Where is the Sonic Blue for the CVC or the CV60's strat?
Also, what is the "Sunburst" guy?

You could've used a knife the ply the metal ring over the edge keeping it closed.
